Primary objective

To promote and expand education in rural and urban areas through:

  • Operation of primary and higher education institutions.

  • Establishment and management of B.Ed., TTC training, medical colleges, and technical educational institutions.

  • Establishment of model schools, hostels, libraries, and reading halls.

  • Conducting informal education, adult literacy programs, and short-term courses.

  • Programs related to environmental education, health education, medicinal management, and physical training.

Secondary Objective

To work in the field of agriculture – spreading awareness among farmers, providing information about new agricultural equipment, promoting organic farming, establishing seed villages, assisting in projects, working for museums and cultural organizations, and supporting research publications.

  • Establishment of yoga centers, camps, and training institutes for a healthy body.

  • Sanitation campaigns in slums and economically backward areas – cleaning of drains, construction of toilets, vaccination against infectious diseases, and raising awareness about personal hygiene.

 
 
  • Operation of cottage, small, and home-based industries for economic development.

  • Training in computers, typing, shorthand, electronics, candle making, soap making, incense stick (agarbatti) production, and other such skills.

 
 
  • Work for the economic, social, and cultural development of the poor, backward, Dalit, Harijan, and tribal communities.

  • Programs related to folk songs, folk dances, fine arts, literature, history, language, traditional arts, and moral and educational development.

Provision of shelters, food arrangements, malnutrition prevention, medical facilities, anganwadis, child health centers, orphanages, supplementary nutrition centers, gyms, and public distribution-related services for orphaned children, the elderly, and widows.

Assistance in providing necessary equipment to physically disabled individuals.

Vocational training for women to promote self-employment, including fashion design, beauty parlors, sewing, embroidery, painting, doll-making, and other entrepreneurial skills.

Programs for the prevention of substance abuse, drug misuse, child marriage, dowry practices, and similar social issues.

Public awareness campaigns and programs to promote national unity, integrity, and mutual harmony.

Termination of Membership:

  • Upon submitting a resignation voluntarily.
  • If declared insane or insolvent.
  • In the event of death.
  • If a no-confidence motion is passed by the committee.
  • For non-payment of membership fees.
  • For being absent continuously in three meetings.
  • If convicted by a court in a criminal case.
  • For acting against the rules/purposes of the organization.

Formation of the Executive Committee

  • The committee will have 7 (seven) members, including the President, Secretary, and Treasurer.
  • The term of the committee will be 5 (five) years.
  • The office-bearers and members will be elected by the General Assembly.
  • Retired members may be re-elected.

Functions and Powers of the Executive Committee

  • To supervise the work and plans of the organization and give necessary instructions.
  • To be responsible for the movable and immovable property of the organization.
  • To execute all activities properly and form sub-committees as needed.
  • To pass a no-confidence motion against members acting against the organization.
  • To decide the date, venue, and agenda of the General Assembly meetings.
  • To prepare plans and budgets and present them before the General Assembly.

Functions and Powers of the General Assembly

  • To elect office-bearers and committee members.
  • To approve plans, budgets, audited accounts, and progress reports.
  • To appoint auditors.
  • To amend the Memorandum of Association and rules.
  • To decide on the dissolution of the organization.
  • To pass the annual report.

Meetings of the General Assembly

  • The annual meeting will be held once a year.
  • A special meeting can be called at the written request of 1/3 of the members.
  • Quorum: Half of the total members + 1 (50% + 1).
  • Notice: To be given at least 10 days in advance (by registered post or signed notice).

Meetings of the Executive Committee

  • The committee meeting will be held every month.
  • A special meeting can be called with 48 hours’ prior notice if necessary.
  • Notice will be given by post, signature register, or special messenger.

Audit

  • The accounts of the organization will be audited annually by an auditor appointed by the General Assembly.
  • The Registrar, Jharkhand, can audit the organization through a Chartered Accountant at any time, with fees borne by the organization.

Amendment

  • Amendments to the Memorandum of Association and rules of the organization can be made only with the approval of 3/5 of the General Assembly members.

Inspection of Records

  • All records will be safely kept in the office under the supervision of the Secretary.
  • Any member or government officer may inspect them with prior permission.
  •  

Legal Action

  • All legal actions by or against the organization will be taken in the name of the Secretary.

Sources of Income

  • Admission fees and membership fees.
  • Government/non-government grants.
  • Donations and special fees.
  • Contributions from cultural programs.
  • Fees from services, works, or material distribution.
  • Loans from individuals, groups, banks, organizations, or government.

Dissolution of the Organization and Management of Assets

  • The proposal for dissolution will be passed by the Executive Committee and presented in a special General Assembly.
  • The organization can be dissolved with the consent of 3/5 of the General Assembly members and must be confirmed in another special meeting.
  • After dissolution, remaining assets will not be given to any member but will be transferred to a registered organization with similar objectives in Jharkhand or to the Government of Jharkhand.
  • Full compliance with Sections 13 and 14 of the Registration Act, 1860, will be ensured.

“Duties and Rights of Office Bearers”

Chairperson

Preside over all meetings. Sign the proceedings register. Cast the deciding vote in case of a tie. Monitor the activities of the organization. Assist in the appointment or removal of the Secretary. Advise the Secretary regarding convening of meetings. Represent the organization. Execute tasks assigned by the committee.

Secretary

Organize meetings. Handle correspondence on behalf of the organization. Keep all registers and documents safe. Audit the organization’s income and expenditure. Record details in the proceedings register. Can spend up to ₹5,000 without prior approval (approval required in the next meeting). Plan projects and manage all financial tasks.

Treasurer

Manage financial operations. Maintain accounts of income and expenditure and prepare financial statements. Assist in presenting accounts at the general meeting. Collect membership fees and issue receipts. Respond to queries regarding financial matters. Explore new sources of income. Ensure the organization’s accounts are audited and submit reports.
